Shawn Lumaban discovered his passion for beauty at the early age of three. He enjoyed watching his mother engage in her daily beauty routine. Greatly influenced by the female grace, as he grew older, his desire to make women look and feel beautiful became stronger.

Growing up in the Philippines provided him the freedom to experiment with fashion and makeup. He used to buy and collect tattered back issues of Vogue Magazine and study the magnificent images from cover to cover. Shawn dreamt to one day live in New York and experience the glamour.

He moved to the United States at the age of seventeen. He studied art and fashion design where he enjoyed the bliss of creating. Although school was going great, Shawn felt something was missing. He realized, as much as he loved designing clothes, the idea of celebrating a person's beauty through makeup satisfied him more. It is through his passion for art and constant practice that have enabled him to master the techniques of makeup artistry. Shawn's talent and unwavering dedication to his craft helped him land the position of National Makeup Artist for Sephora. He has worked backstage during New York Fashion Week for Marc by Marc Jacobs, Yigal Azrouel, Mara Hoffman, Karen Walker, Dennis Basso, Richard Chai, Clover Canyon, Brother Vellies, Paul Andrew, and Yeezy Season 4.

From clean beauty to editorial, Shawn executes makeup looks with a focus on flawless complexion and attention to details - a fresh, modern, and creative approach to beauty.

"Sometimes neutral, mostly color."

He is based in New York City where he continuously seeks out like-minded individuals to make art with.
